You drive through a beautiful, sometimes hilly, sometimes farsighted Masurian landscape, mainly through shady avenues and small side streets. You visit the "highlights" of Masuria and get an impression of the country and its people
Reszel A cozy small town. Worth seeing are the former bishop's castle with its neo-Gothic extension and the gallery with current exhibitions, the beautiful view from the castle tower with a panoramic view of the city and the region, the church from the 14th century, the old market square with its old houses and the town hall
Swieta Lipka Pilgrimage site with a beautiful baroque church and magnificent cloisters, organ concerts with moving figures every half hour every day, next door a picturesque market with products from the region
Ketrzyn With a small castle and a large so-called fortified church, both objects from the 14th century

Frombork where Copernicus worked and died, with the wonderful bishop's castle with a renaissance tower with a beautiful view of the Fresh Lagoon, old cathedral and medical museum.
Kadyny a summer residence of the last German emperor, beautiful houses, beach with a snack bar right on the water.
Elblag former rich Hanseatic city with the beautifully rebuilt old town, Nikolaikirche, museum
Malbork the largest brick castle in the world, former capital of the Dot order state. the tour in the German language, tour about 3 hours

Proposal 3 - mills, boat trip on the Oberland Canal, Elbing approx. 260 km, duration 8-10 hours
Morag - Herder's birthplace, Herders Museum in the castle, picture gallery, 14th century town hall, Teutonic Order castle ruins with tour in German
Kanal Elblaski with facilities with which the ships travel in the country, approx. 5 hours by boat to Elblag
Elblag - old Hanseatic city, Nikolaikirche, reconstructed old town

Proposal 4 - Gdansk most convenient by train
Gdansk in the 16/17 century, the richest city on the Baltic Sea, destroyed in the Second World War, beautifully rebuilt by Polish restorers, Langgasse, Marienkirche, Artushof and much more. You travel comfortably from Olsztyn to Gdansk, have 4-5 hours for sightseeing and you will be picked up by Olsztyn in the afternoon so that you arrive in Barczewko in time for dinner.

Suggestion 5 - Olsztynek / Gietrzwald / Olsztyn is most convenient by train
Olsztynek Olsztynek - Open air museum with typical regional wooden houses from the 17th to 19th centuries. Century, the visit lasts about 2-3 hours.
Gietrzwald Gietrzwald a Catholic place of pilgrimage, a warm house with regional dishes.
Olsztyn Olsztyn - Place for economic life but especially cultural, Olsztyn is 15km away from home. For a drink, a nice cup of coffee or a delicious ice cream, Olsztyn will surprise you. Between the planetarium, the museum of Warmia and Mazury and last but nos least… Plaza Miejska (a new and trendy outdoor area); Olsztyn is pure delight in summer. Olsztyn has also an important festival (Greener festival), a theater and wide music programmation. Everything for everyone...

Other excursions are also waiting for the holiday guest, for example to Zywkowo, where 80 storks and only 35 inhabitants live and the largest population of white storks can be observed in one place, observation tower, coffee shop. On the way, the castle in Lidzbark Warminski and the large church in Dobre Miasto are well worth seeing.
